This is an introduction class to learn the basics to enable you to make bread NATURALLY at home with a sourdough/wild yeast culture. On mastering these basic skills/techniques you will be making great daily breads with less than 15 minutes hands-on time.
In this hands-on workshop learn to make your own crusty, crackling sourdough, some simple sesame sourdough cracker bread, a simple Italian white sourdough for making into pizzas, calzones or grissini and while you and your dough are resting you will learn how to store your newly acquired culture when not in use, how to keep it healthy and how to prepare it for baking. Some of the dough you make on the day you will take home to bake over the following week
This workshop includes a 17 year old organic sourdough culture to take home, recipes and instruction on storage and keeping it healthy; how to prepare it for baking and some troubleshooting tips. This is the way forward if you want your home made breads to be NATURAL, FLAVOURSOME and HEALTHY
